“I am registered as Francesco De Molfetta in the registry office. But no one calls me that. I have always been ‘Demo’ for everyone. I know for sure that my work is about childhood. Mine above all. I believe that everything originates from there. When as a child I was asked the fateful question ‘what do you want to do when you grow up?’, I had no doubts, I replied: ‘the toymaker: I want to sell my toys.’ In a way, that’s what I do. I sell toys that talk of me, of my poetics and my dramas. Resins, colors and plastics take shape to convey content ” – DEMO
